TIRED OF WEIGHTING
Like most women (and some men) I have tried every diet known to humans and
That is how desperate the fight against fat is for women
(and some men).
Watermelon. Grapefruit. Pineapple juice. Cabbage soup.
Shakes, powders, bars. Flexitarian. Vegetarian.
High protein, low protein, no protein. Blood type.
Cookie diet (while tasty that
didn’t turn out so well).
Wrapped in plastic. Paying money to count calories.
Apps to count calories. Weighing food. Fasting.
Combining foods. Blending foods.
Juicing foods.
Ice cream diet (might have meant low-fat not
Heavenly Hash, oops).
Exercise. Exercise. Exercise. Did I mention exercise?
No sugar. No dairy.
No fruit. No wheat. No food.
Why? Because someone told us we were the wrong size.
If someone said you were the wrong colour they’d be called a bigot.
If someone said you were the wrong religion, well, that could start a war. But it’s ok to say you’re the wrong size, more than ok, it’s encouraged. The world is so size obsessed we’re all twisted up like a pretzel, ummm, warm soft pretzel with grainy mustard, sorry, what was I saying?
This is about being healthy at any size. This isn’t about losing weight, gaining weight, being fab and fat, exercising until you drop, not living until you're a certain size, fad diets, crash diets, any diets, obsessions.
Of course I (and others) will be discussing all the various issues, including medical issues concerning weight in later posts, this is just a starter. This is about being healthy and happy at any size, shape, height, age, sex, race, religion, or anything.
So let's talk.
